After graduation, she attended in the University of Arizona and was named a three-time All American pitcher as also a first baseman. Wounded Warriors amputee softball (WWAST) is a group of amputees with a mission to promote awareness and raise funds by playing exhibition games, celebrity softball teams and other events that showcase the bravery and sacrifices of our servicemen and women and their ability to conquer every obstacle. This team's goal is to demonstrate to fellow amputees that these athletes with a rigorous rehabilitation program and training, are able perform and express the sports they enjoy.
